CO-CHAIR
Alex founded the Climate Change Fund in 2021 and currently serves as its Co-Chair. The inspiration for the fund came when watching Dragon's Den, a TV show where entrepreneurs pitch their start-ups in the hopes of receiving funding. He hypothesized that applying a similar model to climate change non-profits could raise awareness, education, and funding. He is responsible for fundraising, non-profit outreach, and member relations.
In his day job, Alex is a Partner and core leader in McKinsey’s Innovation and Growth Practice, where he serves clients ranging from materials companies to sovereign wealth funds on topics including energy transition innovation, sector strategy development, GenAI, and analytics. Alex holds an MBA from Columbia School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University (Canada).
Trevor has been the Co-Chair of the Climate Change Fund since the beginning of 2024. His responsibilities include fundraising, fund management, member experience, branding, communications, logistics, and non-profit due diligence.
He is a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he works on the energy transition for mining companies and utilities. Prior to McKinsey, he worked at the United Nations in Southeast Asia doing trade policy research and advisory. He holds an MSc. in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BComm. from McGill University.
